1 Have you ever learnt about outer space and stars?

Yes, in school we learnt the basic things about space and the solar system. Also, I've seen a number of documentaries about the universe on television. I find the topic quite inspiring.

2 Are you interested in films about outer space and stars?/ Are you interested in films about outer space and stars, like science fiction movies?

- Yes, I'd say so, yes. I enjoy sci-fi films, although I don't think there are many really good ones. I also have seen a few TV series set in space which I've enjoyed.

- I am! I enjoy a good sci-fi film that explores the possibilities of space travel and potential life on other planets. It's a fun way to spark my imagination and think about the future possibilities.

3 Do you want to go into outer space in the future?/ Would you ever like to go into space yourself?

- Haha, no I don't think so. I've heard that some millionaires have actually signed up to go into the lower regions of space in space crafts, or orbit the earth, but I don't really have much of a fascination with this. To be honest, I think I'd be scared! I don't like heights!

- Absolutely! The idea of travelling to space and witnessing the Earth from orbit is a dream for me. To experience the vastness of space firsthand would be truly life-changing.

4. Do you enjoy looking at the stars at night?

Absolutely! There's something incredibly calming and awe-inspiring about gazing at a vast starry sky. It makes me feel incredibly small but also connected to something much bigger than myself.

5. Have you ever learned about outer space and stars in school or elsewhere?

Yes, I did learn about the solar system and basic astronomy in school. But I also find myself drawn to documentaries and articles about space exploration. The universe is so vast and full of mysteries, and I'm always eager to learn more.

6. Can you see many stars at night where you live?

Unfortunately, no. I live in a big city, so the night sky is quite bright. However, I do try to get away to more rural areas sometimes, specifically to enjoy the beauty of a star-filled sky.

7. What do you think about travelling to outer space in general? Do you think it's a worthwhile endeavor?

Candidate: I believe space exploration is incredibly valuable. It allows us to push the boundaries of human knowledge, develop new technologies, and potentially answer fundamental questions about our place in the universe.

8. If you were to go on a trip to outer space, what do you think you would need to prepare for?

Well, besides the intense physical training, I imagine extensive scientific and technical knowledge would be crucial. Additionally, strong mental resilience and the ability to work effectively as part of a team would be essential for such a demanding journey.

9. Do you think it's necessary for humans to travel to other planets?

While not necessarily essential for our immediate survival, I believe it's a natural human instinct to explore and discover new things. Travelling to other planets could potentially open up new resources and even possibilities for future human habitation.
