What makes Linh so energetic is her incredible zest for life. She's the kind of person who's always up for trying new things, whether it's hiking in the mountains, exploring a new city, or just trying a new recipe. As far as I can tell, physical labour was far more common in the past than it is today. First of all, many jobs in industries like agriculture, construction, and manufacturing relied entirely on human effort, whereas now, automation and machinery have taken over a lot of that workload. Another thing is that modern jobs tend to be more knowledge-based, meaning fewer people have to do strenuous physical work on a daily basis. That said, some jobs still require manual labour, especially in developing countries where technology is less advanced.
The way I see it, physical labour hasn’t necessarily decreased—it has just changed in nature. More specifically, while traditional farming or factory work may have declined, jobs in areas like delivery services, warehouse operations, and fitness training have grown significantly. To name one example, with the rise of online shopping, more workers are needed in logistics to handle packaging and transportation. Mind you, the level of physical strain may be lower than in the past, thanks to better tools and equipment.
