1. Đề bài

The table gives information about department and online stores in Australia in 2011.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

2. Phân tích table

Nhìn vào bảng số liệu trên, chúng ta có thể thấy những điểm chính:

• Các cửa hàng trực tuyến có số lượng lớn hơn rất nhiều 
• Cửa hàng trực tuyến cũng có sự tăng trưởng nhiều hơn (0,6%)
• Số lượng cửa hàng bán lẻ rất ít nhưng vẫn mang về lợi nhuận và danh thu lớn hơn nhiều so với các cửa hàng trực tuyến

3. Bài mẫu tham khảo

The table presents a comparison between the performance of department stores and online stores in Australia in 2011.

Overall, while online stores outperformed department stores in terms of the number of businesses and growth rate, they fell short in generating profit and sales revenue compared to their counterparts.

As indicated in the table, online stores exhibited significant dominance in the number of businesses operated in 2011, reaching a total of 368, which was more than five times the number of department stores (67). Furthermore, online stores experienced a higher growth rate with an increase of 0.6%, surpassing department stores' growth rate of 0.4%.

Despite online stores' clear advantage in the aforementioned aspects, they struggled to match the financial success achieved by department stores. Department stores demonstrated remarkable profitability, earning a profit of AUD 807 per store, whereas online stores only managed to earn AUD 863 per store, despite operating a larger number of businesses. Similarly, department stores outperformed online stores in sales revenue as well, earning AUD 12,700 per store, compared to the latter's AUD 13,400 for the same number of businesses.
