    I. IELTS Speaking part 2

    1. Đề bài

Describe a person who always has interesting ideas or opinions

    You should say:

    Who this person is
    What this person does
    How you knew him/her
And explain why you think his/her ideas or opinions are interesting

    2. Sample answer

I would like to talk about a remarkable person in my life who always has interesting ideas and opinions—my classmate, Thảo Anh. She stands out as someone with a unique perspective on various matters and is often sought after for her insightful thoughts.

Thảo Anh and I have been classmates for quite some time, and I've had the privilege of witnessing her creative thinking firsthand. We often find ourselves working together in group assignments or projects, and every time, I am grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with her. What sets Thảo Anh apart is her ability to approach problems and tasks from unconventional angles. Instead of sticking to conventional thinking, she encourages us to explore new horizons of thought.

One instance that particularly impressed me was when we were tasked with creating a presentation for a class project. While most of us were brainstorming in a rather traditional manner, Thảo Anh took the lead and introduced a completely fresh perspective to our project. Her innovative ideas and creativity were evident as she transformed our presentation into a unique and captivating experience. Her ideas not only made the project outstanding but also garnered praise from our teacher.

Moreover, during school events and competitions, Thảo Anh has repeatedly been chosen as the chief scriptwriter. Her talent for crafting engaging narratives and her unconventional approach to storytelling breathe life into our performances. Thanks to her imaginative ideas, our team has won the first prize in the school's cultural and artistic contests multiple times.

When I asked Thảo Anh about the source of her creative ideas, she attributed it to her upbringing. Her parents, she explained, have always encouraged her to think outside the box, view things fromunconventional angles, and continually reinvent herself and her thought processes. Her willingness to embrace new perspectives and her courage to express her unique ideas are qualities I deeply admire.
