3. Sample answer
One of the most exciting activities I've experienced was a camping trip near a river, which was about 300 kilometers away from Ho Chi Minh City. I went on this adventure with my friends, and it happened last year during the Reunification Day holiday.
The decision to go camping was primarily because of the long weekend we had due to Reunification Day, and we both wanted to make the most of it. We decided on a camping trip because we all love nature, and we wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a while. Plus, we had heard about this beautiful campsite near a river that was known for its breathtaking views and serene atmosphere.
The experience was truly unforgettable. We packed our camping gear, loaded up the car, and embarked on the journey early in the morning. As we got closer to our destination, the scenery became increasingly picturesque, with lush green hills and the promise of the river ahead.
Once we arrived at the campsite, we set up our tent right by the riverbank. The sound of the flowing water was soothing, and the fresh air was invigorating. We spent our days hiking through the nearby trails, swimming in the river, and just relaxing by the campfire at night. We even tried our hand at fishing, although we weren't very successful in catching anything substantial.
What made this experience even more special was the quality time I got to spend with friends. We shared stories, played card games, and cooked delicious campfire meals together. It felt like we had reconnected in a way that we hadn't in a long time, and it strengthened our bond.
