    2. Sample answer:  Describe another city you would like to stay for a short time

Well, I would love to talk about a city that has always intrigued me and where I would like to stay for a short time – Da Nang, Vietnam.

Da Nang is a vibrantcoastal city located in the central part of Vietnam, nestled between the majestic Marble Mountains and the pristine East Sea. The city is renowned for its stunning beaches, beautiful landscapes, and a harmonious blend of modernity and traditional culture. The main reason I want to visit Da Nang is to experience its natural beauty and indulge in the relaxed beachside atmosphere. The pristine sandy beaches, such as My Khe Beach and Non Nuoc Beach, have always been on my bucket list for their crystal-clear waters and serene surroundings. I imagine spending my days leisurelystrolling along the shoreline, feeling the gentle sea breeze, and basking in the warm sun.

If I get the opportunity to go to Da Nang, I would love to go with my close friends. Exploring this beautiful city with them would create cherished memories and enhance the enjoyment of our short stay. We could explore the famous Dragon Bridge, visit the historical Marble Mountains, and maybe even take a day trip to the ancient town of Hoi An, which is just a short drive away.

During our short visit, we would also indulge in the delectable local cuisine that Da Nang is famous for. Trying the fresh seafood dishes and local specialties like Mi Quang and Banh Xeo would be a culinary adventure. While Da Nang has so much to offer, my stay would be short due to other commitments and responsibilities back home. Nonetheless, even a brief visit to this captivating city would allow me to experience its unique charm and enjoy a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

    II. IELTS Speaking part 3

    1. Why do people sometimes go to other cities or other countries to travel?

In my opinion, I believe people often travel to other cities or countries to explore new cultures and broaden their horizons. Personally, I find it fascinating to immerse myself in different lifestyles and traditions, as it gives me a fresh perspective on life. Additionally, traveling allows me to escape from daily routines, recharge my mind, and create cherished memories with my loved ones.

    2. Why are historical cities popular?

Historical cities hold a special appeal for many travelers, including myself, because they offer a glimpse into the past and showcase cultural heritage. I find myself drawn to the architectural wonders and ancient landmarks that these cities have preserved over the centuries. As someone who appreciates history and the stories behind these places, walking through cobbled streets and exploring well-preserved structures is truly a captivating experience.

    3. Why do places with historical sites develop the tourism industry more actively?

From my perspective, places with historical sites actively develop the tourism industry because they attract a large number of visitors who are eager to learn about the country's history and culture. I've noticed that my own country has invested significantly in promoting historical tourism to showcase our rich traditions and heritage. This not only boosts tourism revenue but also instills a sense of national pride among the locals, including myself, as we witness others appreciating and respecting our cultural legacy.

    4. Do you think tourists may come across bad things in other cities?

Well, I'm aware that it is possible for tourists to encounter negative experiences in other cities. While exploring unfamiliar surroundings, tourists may occasionally face scams or petty thefts. However, I believe that being vigilant and informed can significantly reduce the likelihood of such incidents. Personally, I always research about the destination, follow local safety tips, and seek recommendations from fellow travelers to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip.

    5. Do most people like planned traveling?

To my way of thinking, many people do prefer planned traveling, especially when visiting foreign countries or less familiar destinations. I, too, enjoy planned trips as they provide a structured itinerary and a sense of security. Knowing that accommodations and tours are arranged in advance allows me to focus on exploring and savoring each moment without worrying about logistics. However, I also appreciate the spontaneity of occasional unplanned adventures, as they add a sense of excitement and surprise to the journey.

    6. Why is noise pollution worse in tourism cities than in other cities?

In my experience, noise pollution tends to be worse in tourism cities due to the high influx of visitors and increased human activity. As someone who has traveled to bustling tourist destinations, I've noticed that the presence of large crowds, vehicles, and entertainment venues contributes to elevated noise levels. Moreover, vibrant nightlife scenes with bars and restaurants can add to the noise during late hours. While tourism brings economic benefits to these cities, it is essential to strike a balance between development and maintaining the quality of life for both residents and visitors.
