    2. Sample answer

I'm going to talk about a natural place that I love visiting, which is Ba Vi National Park. It’s located about 60 kilometers west of Hanoi, and it’s one of the most beautiful and peaceful places near the city. The park is famous for its lush green forests, misty mountains, and fresh air, which makes it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

I first heard about Ba Vi from a friend who had visited it with her family. She showed me some amazing photos of the mountains and temples there, and that got me interested. I decided to go with a group of friends about a year ago, and since then, I’ve been back a couple of times.

The park is quite large, with winding roads that lead up the mountains, offering incredible views along the way. There are also a few historical sites and temples within the park, like the Upper Temple, which is located near the summit of the highest peak. The air up there is cool, and it feels like you’re surrounded by clouds.

I like visiting Ba Vi for a few reasons. First of all, it’s a place where I can completely relax and get away from the noise and stress of daily life. I love the feeling of being in nature, breathing in the fresh air, and just walking around the forest. Also, it’s a great place for taking photos, as the views are stunning, especially at sunrise or sunset.

Ba Vi is my go-to spot whenever I need a break from the city. It’s a place where I can recharge, enjoy nature, and clear my mind.

    IELTS Speaking part 3

Tham khảo một số câu trả lời phần thi IELTS Speaking part 3 đơn giản dưới đây từ SOL nhé:

    1. What kind of people like to visit natural places?

I think people who enjoy peace and quiet are the ones who like to visit natural places. Nature lovers, hikers, or anyone who wants a break from the busy city life are usually drawn to these places. They enjoy the fresh air, the scenery, and the feeling of being closer to nature. In Vietnam, I’ve noticed that families, especially those with kids, like to go to places like national parks or beaches during weekends to relax and escape the city noise.

    • busy city life /ˈbɪzi ˈsɪti laɪf/: cuộc sống đô thị bận rộn
    • fresh air /frɛʃ ɛər/: không khí trong lành
    • scenery /ˈsiːnəri/: phong cảnh
    • closer to nature /ˈkloʊsər tə ˈneɪ.tʃər/: gần gũi với thiên nhiên

    2. What are the differences between a natural place and a city?

The biggest difference is the environment. Natural places are much quieter and cleaner, with lots of trees, mountains, or rivers. You feel more connected to the earth. On the other hand, cities are noisy, crowded, and full of buildings, cars, and people. In natural places, the air feels fresher, and the pace of life seems slower, while cities are all about fast movement and convenience.

    • connected to the earth /kəˈnɛktɪd tə ðə ɜːrθ/: cảm thấy gần gũi với trái đất
    • crowded /ˈkraʊdɪd/: đông đúc
    • fast movement /fæst ˈmuːvmənt/: chuyển động nhanh

    3. Do you think that going to the park is the only way to get close to nature?

Well, I don’t think going to the park is the only way to experience nature. It’s one option, but there are many other ways to get close to nature. You could go hiking in the mountains, visit a beach, or even spend time in your own garden if you have one. In Vietnam, people sometimes go to the countryside to enjoy rice fields or take a boat trip along rivers, which are all great ways to feel connected to nature.

    • countryside /ˈkʌntrisaɪd/: nông thôn
    • rice fields /raɪs fiːldz/: cánh đồng lúa
    • boat trip along rivers /boʊt trɪp əˈlɔːŋ ˈrɪvərz/: chuyến đi bằng thuyền dọc theo sông

    4. Do you know any wild animals in the city?

Yes, although cities are mostly full of people, there are still some wild animals around. For example, in Hanoi, you can often see birds, squirrels, and sometimes even frogs near lakes or parks. There are also some stray cats and dogs that live in the streets. While it’s not as common as in rural areas, you can still spot some small wildlife if you look closely.

    • stray cats and dogs /streɪ kæts ənd dɔːɡz/: mèo và chó hoang
    • small wildlife /smɔːl ˈwaɪldlaɪf/: động vật hoang dã nhỏ

    5. Do you think it is a good idea to let animals stay in local parks for people to visit?

I think it depends on the type of animals. If we’re talking about small, non-dangerous animals like birds, squirrels, or even fish in ponds, I believe that it’s a great idea. It adds to the natural beauty of the park and helps people feel more connected to nature. However, for larger or more dangerous animals, it might not be safe for both the animals and the visitors. In those cases, it’s better to have them in a protected environment like a nature reserve or zoo, where they can be properly cared for.

    • small, non-dangerous animals /smɔːl ˈnɒn ˈdeɪndʒərəs ˈænɪməlz/: động vật nhỏ, không nguy hiểm
    • adds to the natural beauty /ædz tə ðə ˈnæʧrəl ˈbjuːti/: làm tăng vẻ đẹp tự nhiên
    • larger or more dangerous animals /ˈlɑːrdʒər ɔːr mɔːr ˈdeɪndʒərəs ˈænɪməlz/: động vật lớn hơn hoặc nguy hiểm hơn
    • nature reserve /ˈneɪtʃər rɪˈzɜːrv/: khu bảo tồn thiên nhiên
