    • What you enjoy doing there
    • And explain why you feel relaxed at this place

    Sample answer

My favorite place in my home where I like to relax is actually the living room. Although most young people might say their bedroom is the most comfortable place in the house, my bedroom is quite small and not as cozy or interesting as the living room.

What makes the living room so inviting is its warmth and comfort. With its lovely sofa and armchairs, great TV, rugs, little tables, and amazing pictures on the walls, there is something about the room that makes everyone feel comfortable. Even my friends or family friends who come over often comment on how they feel at ease in our living room. I think this is largely due to my mother's hospitality. She is always relaxed and welcoming of guests, and she warmly welcomes visitors, making them feel at home.

The living room is laid out and decorated in such a way that people seem to feel especially comfortable. I use the living room for various activities. I study on my lap there on the sofa, watch TV, play with our pet cat, nap in the armchair, and sometimes we even have dinner there. The atmosphere is always very relaxing, and the lighting is comfortable and tasteful. The room is spacious enough to feel open and airy, yet small enough to feel warm and cozy, especially in the winter when it's bitterly cold outside. The view from the window is also really pleasant, and I enjoy looking out at the trees and greenery.

Overall, I think the living room is my favorite place to relax because of its comfort, coziness, and the warm atmosphere created by my mother's hospitality. I feel at ease there and can do pretty much anything I want to unwind and relax after a long day.

    1. Why is it difficult for some people to relax?

It can be difficult for some people to relax due to a variety of reasons. One major factor is stress, which can come from work, family responsibilities, or financial concerns. Constantly thinking about problems and upcoming tasks makes it hard to unwind. Additionally, the pervasive use of technology means that people are often connected and engaged, even in their leisure time, which can prevent them from fully relaxing. Moreover, some individuals may not have learned effective relaxation techniques, making it challenging to switch off and de-stress.
