    4. Are children today happier than children in the past?

It's difficult to say whether children today are happier than children in the past because happiness is subjective and influenced by various factors. While children today may enjoy advancements in technology, education, and healthcare that provide more opportunities and conveniences, they also face unique challenges such as social pressures, academic stress, and exposure to digital devices. Conversely, children in the past may have had simpler lives with fewer distractions and responsibilities, but they also had to contend with issues like economic hardship, limited access to resources, and less emphasis on individual rights and freedoms. Ultimately, happiness is subjective and can vary greatly from one child to another, regardless of the time period.

    • resources /ˈrɪsɔːrsɪz/ (n): tài nguyên
    • emphasis /ˈɛmfəsɪs/ (n): sự nhấn mạnh
    • individual rights and freedoms /ˌɪndɪˈvɪdʒʊəl raɪts ænd ˈfriːdəmz/ : quyền lợi và tự do cá nhân

    5. How can children become happy?

Children can become happy by having their emotional and physical needs met, feeling loved and supported by their families and communities, and having opportunities to explore their interests and passions. It's essential for adults to create a nurturing and positive environment for children to thrive, where they feel safe, respected, and valued. Encouraging children to develop resilience, empathy, and a growth mindset can also contribute to their overall happiness and well-being. Ultimately, fostering strong relationships, providing opportunities for play and learning, and teaching children to navigate challenges and setbacks with resilience are key factors in promoting their happiness.

    • emotional and physical needs /ɪˈməʊʃənl ænd ˈfɪzɪkəl niːdz/: nhu cầu cảm xúc và sinh lý

    6. What's the difference between adults’ and children's happiness?

I think one significant difference between adults' and children's happiness is the complexity and depth of their experiences and emotions. While children's happiness may be more spontaneous and focused on immediate gratification, adults' happiness tends to be influenced by a broader range of factors such as relationships, achievements, personal fulfillment, and overall life satisfaction. Additionally, adults' happiness may be tempered by responsibilities, stressors, and societal expectations that come with adulthood, whereas children's happiness is often more uncomplicated and centered around simple pleasures and moments of joy.

    • complexity /kəmˈplɛksɪti/ (n): sự phức tạp
    • depth /dɛpθ/ (n): sâu sắc
    • spontaneous /spɒnˈteɪniəs/ (adj): tự phát, tự nhiên
    • immediate gratification /ɪˈmiːdiət ˌɡrætɪfɪˈkeɪʃən/ (n): sự thỏa mãn ngay lập tức
    • life satisfaction /laɪf ˌsætɪsˈfækʃən/ (n): sự hài lòng với cuộc sống
    • temper /ˈtɛmpər/ (v): làm dịu đi
    • stressor /ˈstrɛsər/ (n): nguyên nhân gây căng thẳng
    • societal /səˈsaɪətl̩/ (adj): xã hội
    • expectation /ˌɛkspɛkˈteɪʃən/ (n): kỳ vọng
    • adulthood /ˈædʌlthʊd/ (n): tuổi trưởng thành
    • uncomplicated /ˌʌnˈkɒmplɪkeɪtɪd/ (adj): không phức tạp

    7. Do you think everyone shares a similar definition of happiness?

I believe that while there are common themes and aspects of happiness that many people can agree on, such as love, fulfillment, and well-being, the definition of happiness can vary significantly from person to person. Each individual has their own unique values, beliefs, and life experiences that shape their perception of happiness. What brings happiness to one person may not necessarily bring the same level of fulfillment to another. Additionally, cultural, societal, and personal factors can influence how people define and pursue happiness. Therefore, while there may be some overlap in people's understanding of happiness, it ultimately remains a deeply personal and subjective concept.

    • aspect /ˈæspɛkt/ (n): khía cạnh
    • fulfillment /fʊlˈfɪlmənt/ (n): sự hoàn thành, sự thỏa mãn
    • well-being /wɛlˈbiːɪŋ/ (n): sự khỏe mạnh, hạnh phúc
    • definition /ˌdɛfɪˈnɪʃən/ (n): định nghĩa
    • significantly /sɪɡˈnɪfɪkəntli/ (adv): đáng kể
    • individual /ˌɪndɪˈvɪdʒuəl/ (n): cá nhân, người đơn lẻ
    • unique /juːˈniːk/ (adj): độc đáo, duy nhất
    • life experiences /laɪf ɪkˈspɪəriənsɪz/ (n): kinh nghiệm cuộc sống
    • perception /pərˈsɛpʃən/ (n): nhận thức
