    2. Bài mẫu tham khảo

One photo that is really special to me was taken about five years ago during a family trip to Ha Long Bay. The photo captures a moment when my family and I were on a boat, surrounded by the stunning limestone karsts that Ha Long Bay is famous for. It was taken by my older sister, who loves photography and always carries her camera with her.

In the photo, you can see my parents, my younger brother, and me. We’re all smiling and enjoying the breeze as the boat gently moves through the calm waters. My dad is holding a conical hat, which makes the picture feel even more Vietnamese. The sky was a bit cloudy that day, but it only made the scenery more dramatic and beautiful.

This photo is special to me for a few reasons. First, it reminds me of one of the last family trips we took together before I started university and became busy with my studies. It was a rare moment when we were all able to relax and spend quality time together without any distractions. Second, it captures the natural beauty of Vietnam, which is something I’m really proud of. Every time I look at the photo, it brings back the peaceful feeling of that day and the strong bond I share with my family.

As for whether I will keep it for a long time, absolutely. I have already printed it out and framed it, and it sits on my desk where I can see it every day. In the future, I plan to keep it in a special album or even digitize it to ensure it’s preserved. This photo is not just a memory; it’s a reminder of the importance of family and the beautiful moments we shared together, which I will cherish forever.

    IELTS Speaking part 3

    1. Who would take photos more often, young people or older people?

Personally, I think young people take photos more often than older people. With the rise of smartphones and social media, younger generations are constantly capturing and sharing moments from their lives. Platforms like Instagram and TikTok encourage frequent photo-taking to showcase their experiences and connect with friends. For me, it's almost a daily routine to snap photos of everything from meals to outings. Older people, on the other hand, might not be as engaged with these digital platforms and often use cameras less frequently, preferring to capture significant events rather than everyday moments.

    • capturing and sharing moments /ˈkæptʃərɪŋ ənd ˈʃɛrɪŋ ˈmoʊmənts/: ghi lại và chia sẻ khoảnh khắc

    • frequent photo-taking /ˈfriːkwənt ˈfoʊtoʊ ˈteɪkɪŋ/: việc chụp ảnh thường xuyên

    • showcase experiences /ˈʃoʊkeɪs ɪkˈspɪəriənsiːz/: giới thiệu những trải nghiệm

    • digital platforms /ˈdɪdʒɪtl ˈplætfɔːrmz/: nền tảng kỹ thuật số

    • significant events /sɪɡˈnɪfɪkənt ɪˈvɛnts/: sự kiện quan trọng

    2. What do young people and old people like to take photos of?

In my view, young people are typically drawn to taking photos of their social activities and experiences. They love capturing moments with friends, travel adventures, and trendy events. For example, I often see friends posting photos of their outings or the latest fashion trends they’re trying out. Older people, however, might focus more on significant life events and family moments. They often take photos of family gatherings, special occasions like anniversaries, and important milestones. Personally, I notice that older family members cherish photos that document family history and memorable events, while younger generations are more about capturing the here and now.

    • travel adventures /ˈtrævəl ædˈvɛntʃərz/: cuộc phiêu lưu du lịch

    • trendy events /ˈtrɛndi ɪˈvɛnts/: sự kiện thời thượng

    • family gatherings /ˈfæmɪli ˈɡæðərɪŋz/: các buổi tụ họp gia đình

    • special occasions /ˈspɛʃəl əˈkeɪʒənz/: dịp đặc biệt

    • family history /ˈfæmɪli ˈhɪstəri/: lịch sử gia đình

    • memorable events /ˈmɛmərəbəl ɪˈvɛnts/: sự kiện đáng nhớ

    3. Why do some people pay a ton of money to hire professional photographers to take photos at some special occasions, such as weddings?

From my perspective, people invest in professional photographers for special occasions because they want high-quality, memorable images that capture the essence of those moments perfectly. For events like weddings, the photos are not just about recording the day but also about preserving cherished memories in a beautiful way. Professional photographers have the skills and equipment to create stunning images that amateur photographers might struggle with. Personally, I think it’s worth the expense because these photos become treasured keepsakes that reflect the significance of the event. It’s about ensuring that the memories are captured in the best possible way, which is something people often value highly.

    • professional photographers /prəˈfɛʃənl fəˈtɒɡrəfərz/: nhiếp ảnh gia chuyên nghiệp

    • high-quality images /haɪ ˈkwɑːləti ˈɪmɪdʒɪz/: hình ảnh chất lượng cao

    • cherished memories /ˈʧɛrɪʃt ˈmɛməriz/: kỷ niệm quý giá

    • stunning images /ˈstʌnɪŋ ˈɪmɪdʒɪz/: hình ảnh ấn tượng

    • amateur photographers /ˈæmətjʊr fəˈtɒɡrəfərz/: nhiếp ảnh gia nghiệp dư

    • treasured keepsakes /ˈtrɛʒərd ˈkiːpseɪks/: kỷ vật quý giá
