      • Adventure /ədˈvɛntʃər/ (noun): cuộc phiêu lưu.
    • Sample 2: As a child, I enjoyed spending time outdoors, playing games with my friends, and exploring the neighborhood. I also loved getting lost in books and using my imagination to create adventures in my mind. Additionally, I had a passion for drawing and painting, so you could often find me with a pencil or a paintbrush in hand, lost in my own little world of creativity.
      • Imagination /ɪˌmædʒɪˈneɪʃən/ (noun): trí tưởng tượng.
      • Passion /ˈpæʃən/ (noun): niềm đam mê.
      • Drawing /ˈdrɔːɪŋ/ (noun): vẽ tranh.
      • Creativity /ˌkriːeɪˈtɪvɪti/ (noun): sự sáng tạo.

    2. Did you enjoy your childhood?

    • Sample 1: Yes, I very much enjoyed my childhood. I had a lot of fun playing with my friends and spending time with my family. I also had the opportunity to travel to different parts of the country, which I really enjoyed. I feel very fortunate to have had a happy and carefree childhood.

    • Sample 1: One of my best childhood memories is going camping with my family every summer. We would pitch our tent in the woods and spend our days swimming, hiking, and fishing. I loved being surrounded by nature and spending time with my loved ones.

      • Surrounded /səˈraʊndɪd/ (verb): bao quanh, bao bọc.
    • Sample 2:  Some of my best childhood memories revolve around family gatherings and celebrations. I remember the joy of Lunar New Year festivities, with the house adorned in red and gold decorations, the aroma of traditional dishes filling the air, and the sound of laughter echoing throughout the house. Another favorite memory is of summer vacations spent at my grandparents' house, where my cousins and I would play in the garden, go on adventures in the countryside, and bond over shared stories and experiences.
      • Revolve around /rɪˈvɒlv əˈraʊnd/ (verb phrase): xoay quanh, tập trung vào.

      • Echoing /ˈɛkəʊɪŋ/ (verb): vang vọng.

    4. Do you think it is better for children to grow up in the city or in the countryside?

I believe both city and countryside environments offer unique advantages for children's upbringing. Growing up in the city provides access to a wide range of educational and recreational opportunities, cultural experiences, and diverse communities. On the other hand, the countryside offers a slower pace of life, closer connection to nature, and a sense of community and belonging. Ultimately, the best environment for a child to grow up in depends on various factors such as family preferences, lifestyle, and individual needs.

    • Upbringing /ˈʌpˌbrɪŋɪŋ/ (noun): sự nuôi dưỡng, giáo dục.
    • Recreational /ˌrɛkriˈeɪʃənəl/ (adjective): giải trí.
    • Diverse /daɪˈvɜːrs/ (adjective): đa dạng.
    • Communities /kəˈmjuːnɪtiz/ (noun): các cộng đồng.
    • Pace of life /peɪs əv laɪf/ (noun phrase): nhịp sống.
    • Belonging /bɪˈlɔːŋɪŋ/ (noun): sự thuộc về, cảm giác thân thuộc.
    • Preferences /ˈprɛfərənsɪz/ (noun): sở thích, sự ưu tiên.
    • Individual /ˌɪndɪˈvɪdʒuəl/ (adjective): cá nhân, riêng lẻ.

    5. Who did you like to play with as a child?

Sample 1: When I was a child, I loved playing with my cousins. We were very close in age, so we always found fun games to play together. Sometimes, we’d play board games, or we’d run around the neighborhood pretending to be superheroes. I always looked forward to weekends when I could hang out with them.

Sample 2: As a child, I mostly played with my siblings. We lived in a quiet neighborhood, so we’d often play games like hide-and-seek, or we would ride our bikes around the area. I think having my siblings around made those moments even more fun because we could always rely on each other to come up with new activities.

    6. Where did you go to play as a child?

Sample 1: As a child, I spent a lot of time playing in the park near my house. It was a big open space with swings, slides, and a lot of trees, so there were plenty of things to do. I also enjoyed playing with other kids in the neighborhood there, and it became a favorite spot for all of us to gather after school or on weekends.

Sample 2: I usually played in the backyard of my house, where we had a small garden. It wasn’t a big area, but I made the most of it by playing with my toys or running around with my friends. Sometimes, I’d also go to a nearby playground with my parents, but the backyard was where I spent most of my time.
