Kỹ thuật PEE có thể diễn giải đơn giản như sau:
* Point: Bắt đầu với việc trả lời ý chính của câu hỏi
* Explain: Giải thích ý kiến của bạn, tại sao bạn lại có quan điểm đó
* Example: Đưa ra 1 ví dụ cụ thể để hỗ trợ ý kiến của bạn
Ví dụ : Do you like listening to music?
- P: Yes, I really enjoy listening to music.
- E: It helps me relax, de-stress, and feel more energized.
- E: For example, if I'm feeling down, I might listen to some upbeat and cheerful music to lift my spirits. Or, if I'm trying to focus on a task, I might listen to some classical music to help me concentrate.
Khi trả lời câu hỏi, hãy thêm các ý để trả lời các câu hỏi What, When, Where, Why, Who, How:
Ví dụ 1: Do you like watching films?
* Answer: Speaking of films, yes, I am a big fan of all types of films, such as...
* What : comedy, action, romance, sci-fi, vampire, zombie, animation.
* Where: Normally, I enjoy watching films at cinemas, for it has a better atmosphere with better sound/visual effects.
* When & Who: When I am available during weekends, I like to see a film with my bestie/ girlfriend/boyfriend.
* Why: I love watching films simply because I can/it can escape from my daily life and experience something that can hardly happen in real life.
Ví dụ 2: How much time do you spend traveling on a normal day?
* Answer: Yes, I often go out with my friends.
* When: Yes, I often go out with my close friends on weekends.
* Where: Yes, I often go out with my close friends on weekends, and we usually explore new restaurants or coffee shops in the city.
* How: We like to try new foods and drinks together, and it's a great way to relax and catch up with each other.
* Why: It helps us bond, create memories, and enjoy each other's company.
Bạn sẽ trả lời câu hỏi bằng cách:
* S: Đưa ra quan điểm rõ ràng - standpoint
* R: Nêu lý do vì sao mình có quan điểm đó - reasoning - simply because/ mainly because/since ...
* E: Nêu ví dụ cụ thể - Examples - By this, I mean/Take sth as an example/For instance ...
* S: Nêu giả định cho vấn đề - supposition - Without ..., I couldn't .../ How could I ... If I chose ..., I would..., so... is much better...
* CA: Đề cập mặt đối lập của vấn đề - contrary aspect - However, I do realise that.../On the other hand, I have to say that ...
* C: Đưa ra kết luận cho vấn đề - conclusion - In short/ All in all/In summary/To conclude/To sum up/In a word, that's why...
*Lưu ý: Không cần áp dụng tất cả các bước mà có thể áp dụng linh hoạt trong câu trả lời sao cho hợp lý nhé!
Ví dụ: Do you prefer eating at home or at restaurants?
* S: Generally speaking, I am keener on eating at restaurants
* R: simply because I can try a wider range/selection of food at restaurants.
* E: For example, I can enjoy Japanese food, like sushi, sashimi, and udon noodles.
* S: But if I eat at home, I probably can only have Vietnamese food since my mum has no idea of how to cook Japanese food.
* CS: However, I do know that food safety is becoming increasingly alarming in Đề cập mặt Vietnam these days. So, somehow eating at home will be more hygienic and guaranteed.
* C: In a word, I like eating at restaurants better.
